Our story began in 2012, when Rahul & Swapnali turned their passion for furniture and years of experience into a small workshop. What started as a hands-on journey, with every piece made entirely by hand, gradually grew into something bigger. In 2018, that journey found its identity — DesignBee Furniture.

Today, we bring together the warmth of traditional craftsmanship and the precision of advanced technology, including a 5-axis CNC machine. Yet, at the heart of everything we create are the skilled hands, knowledge and experience of our craftsmen. We also believe in growing together with our community. By training local artisans in cane and papercord weaving, we help preserve valuable craft techniques while creating opportunities for them to learn, work and become independent.

Nestled in a beautiful little village in Alibag, Maharashtra, our factory is surrounded by nature, simplicity as a strong sense of community — value that continue to inspire the way we work and create.
